Discover text messaging alerts update
We’re changing the six-digit numbers that we use to send you Discover SMS text alerts. We’ve sent messages from 347268, but that’s going to change for different alert types.
Don’t worry there’s nothing that you need to do, and you won’t experience a disruption to your alerts. We’ll send you a text from the new number to let you know when it’s been changed.
No. You’ll keep getting all the messages that you currently receive, and all your preferences will stay the same. If you want to change your alert settings, log in to your Discover account.
We’re going to send you an SMS text message from 347268 first (that’s our current alerts number), letting you know what the new number will be.
If you have enrolled in text alerts for different Discover accounts or services, we’ll send you an SMS text message number update for each one.
You can either update your account alert preferences online, or you can reply STOP when you receive a text from Discover. If you reply STOP during this update, you'll be opted out of all Discover texts you had previously enrolled in.
