How to pay with rewards at Amazon.com
1. After logging in to the online portal using the link, you’ll be brought to the below page, prompting you to add your card to your Amazon.com account.
2. From the Discover mobile app, you can go to “Services” and then “Manage Cards & Devices,” and select “Add Card” under the Amazon logo.
3. Next, review the terms and conditions and click the “Add Card” button.
4. You’ll then need to sign in to your Amazon account. After clicking the “Sign in” button, you’ll see the below page.
5. Review the terms. After clicking “Continue,” you’ll receive confirmation that you’ve successfully linked your accounts.
6. Once you link your Discover Card to your Amazon account, you can set your card as the default payment method in your Amazon.com Wallet. From the Wallet page, hover over the card you’d like to set as your default payment method and click "Edit".
7. A pop-up box will appear. You can then click the checkbox to select this credit card as your default payment method. Click “Save” to update your default payment method.
8. Now when you check out, this Amazon account will select your Discover Card to pay. (You can change your payment method at checkout as needed.)
Once you link your Discover Card with your Amazon.com account, you can redeem your rewards at Amazon.com checkout. Just add eligible items to your shopping cart and proceed to the regular checkout process. You’ll see rewards available for use next to your Discover Card.
